Shops We Love: RetroStar
Perhaps the most iconic vintage brand in Melbourne, Retro Star is a must see for anyone interested in vintage fashion in Melbourne. Hidden away in the Nicholas Building on Swanston St this is a shop full of a huge range of vintage and second hand items from the pretty tea dresses, to more band tees than you can imagine, I particularly love the little vintage dress section at the back of the store and often purchase beautiful unique vintage dresses there.

Warehouse Sale: Where to find a bargain!
RetroStar is a very well established vintage store here in Melbourne, and every couple of months the store hosts warehouse sales in Brunswick where all vintage items (mostly clothing) is reduced to $10 and under!
This event is popular amongst anyone looking for a bargain and a vintage fashion item at the same time.
We attended on the 6th of April to a beautifully and surprisingly organised warehouse full of racks of clothing. Personally I went from one end of the dresses to the other as vintage dresses are my jam and I ended up buying 5 vintage dresses for $50! It’s not for everyone or every style but for $10 a piece it is definitely worth a look!
